Feels far more like grass than other golf mats. With a regular mat, when you hit fat the club seems to skid and then contacts the ball giving a better result than you’d get on real grass. Also, heavy shots on the MiniMat hurt less – a big plus for those golfers with aching wrists and elbow joints. Another big plus for me is that it’s portable. I carry it in my golf bag and take it to my home course after work. There is a practice area about 170yards wide used by few people because the greenkeepers don’t bother to keep the grass short. It’s like hitting out of the rough. Well, now I just set up my MiniMat and, there you are - a great fairway lie. I’m very happy with it.
